Woven On Vintage Hanging Knitting Machines In Wakayama, The ‘6Th Man’ Sweatshirt Features 3/4′ Cut-Off Sleeves, Single ‘V’ Construction With Wide Crew Neck Collar, Bound Seams For Extra Durability While A Relaxed Fit Completes The Look.
The Fabric Has Been Woven On Vintage Hanging Knitting Machines In Wakayama That Weave At A Sluggish Pace Providing A Small Amount Of Fabric A Day. These Were Standard Sweatshirt Production Machines Until The 1960’S When Production Methods Moved Elsewhere. There Are About 400 Of These Machines Remaining In Japan (With Only 200 In Production) And They Produce Roughly A Metre Of Fabric An Hour – They Require Skilled Craftsman To Operate These Machines In Order To Produce Vintage Like Fabrics.
