Forming Part Of Warehouse & Co’S Ss23 ‘2Nd Hand Series’ Collection, The 4084 S/S Sweatshirt Follows On From Their Popular Introduction Last Spring/Summer Season.
The Lot. 4084 Is Modelled On Their Standard Lot. 4085 S/S Sweatshirts, But Features A Print On The Chest. Cut In Japan From 100% Cotton, The Lot. 4084 Features 60’S Surf Iconography On The Chest While ‘Aloha Hawaii’ Is Printed On The Read. A Ribbed Hem And Sleeves Have Been Paired With Raglan Sleeves And A Bound Crew Neck Collar. Due To The Washing Process These Sweatshirts Have Gone Through There Will Be No Further Shrinkage.
The Fabric Has Been Woven On Vintage Hanging Knitting Machines In Wakayama That Weave At A Sluggish Pace Providing A Small Amount Of Fabric A Day. These Were Standard Sweatshirt Production Machines Until The 1960’S When Production Methods Moved Elsewhere. There Are About 400 Of These Machines Remaining In Japan (With Only 200 In Production) And They Produce Roughly A Metre Of Fabric An Hour – They Require Skilled Craftsman To Operate These Machines In Order To Produce Vintage Like Fabrics.
